Comments: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I have just found you and begun to read. Wonderful and truly blessed. Your site is the best I have ever read. My daughter and I love Israel and desire a better understand of Messianic Judaism. Your site is easily understood and thought provocating. As a Gentile believer in Jesus as Saviour I call myself a Christian do you call yourselves Messianic Jews? Please forgive my ignorance but I've heard so many different terms. I'm very interested in head covering. Do you wear head coverings? I would appreciate any communication that you might have time for.
Sincerely,
Linda Ramsingh

Comments: Thanks for a informative website and the added revelations it has brought to me. I have been growing in knowledge for many years, and I am coming into a more complete understanding of Yeshua'a teachings. Having been raised and baptized in a Primitive Baptist religion/family (1975), the past 15 years of learning Messianic teachings have been an awakening to truth. I am always in prayer to walk in truth of The Way that isn't taught in my area.
Shalom

Comments: WOW. This is an awsome web-site. I believe that the church really! needs to go back to it's Jewish roots. True Christians and Messainic Jews are all one in the same Spirit. Thats how it needs to be.
p.s. i am not of Jewish decent but i fill lead to help lead the Jews to the Messiah, and also change the non-biblical parts of Christianity to biblical. Imagine how the world will react when we come together as one in Christ. Imagine the radical chane there will be!!! :)

Comments: How can you throw out the Oral Torah? Would not Yeshua have been following the Oral Law in his everyday life? Why else would Yeshua told us the scribes and the Pharises sit on Moshe's seat? (Matt 23.2) Not only that Yeshua tells us we are to observe the things they bid on us. (Matt 23.3) If all we had to do was just simply follow the Torah word for word, don't you think everything G-d expected of us would have been written in it? Not only that would Moshe have asked G-d to help with his burden of making rulings on how Torah was to be observed? (Deut 1.9-16) This is clearly the begining of the Sanhedrin, which of course made rulings on how Torah was to be kept. Basically I would like to know how you can throw out that which G-d started?

Comments: When I found your site I could not believe it.
Your site is what I've been looking for.
I belief that we must go back to the beginning of the church. And I believe we must go back to it's Jewish roots or else we just see it in black and white. We miss a lot. And I believe that Christmas is pagan. I am busy with Easter for I think the L-rd is warning me about it as well. We are Sabbath keeping Christians. I believe that the Jewish people is Special for our L-rd. His promise to the Jewish is forever. I believe that He put a painfull love for His people in my heart. I can not explain it but I hurt for them and love them. I praise the L-rd for showing me your website
Shalom

Comments: I was delighted to find this website however I was a little confused to see posts which deny the trinity of god when the same author posted many references where jesus claims deity, using the phrase "I and my father are one" if there is no trinity then who is jesus, and his father .clearly a reference to two distinct individuals.

Comments: I am very encouraged by your website. I am a born again believer, married to a Jewish man who does not believe,he has a very secular, worldly viewpoint. He has attended several Messianic services with me, but call them Messy Jews, says you can not be jewish and christian. I love the connection we have Judeo-Christian and would love for him to understand. He will however, attend church services with me, though I would love to attend Shabbat services with him, he was not raised in the Jewish tradition, and I think it would be wonderful for him to experience the richness of it. Yeshua is Messiah! I would love it if my husband became a true Messianic believer, I agree that the Torah is essential for study for all believers in Messiah. We get a deeper understanding of the roots of Christianity from it, our faith is strenthened by it. Thank you...

Comments: I was raised by a Jewish step-father, who was raised orthodox in Baltimore, Maryland. I am a Gentile, but was raised with all of the traditions and holidays of Judaism. My step-father accepted Jesus as the Messiah in 1976. But being Jewish is more than a religion to him. It is his culture and his bloodline, so he has still observed the orthodox traditions along with his Christian beliefs. It was an interesting childhood!

Comments: Very interesting site, especially for a gentile who was brought up Catholic, saw the error of their "theology" became a pentecostal minister, saw the error of their "theology" and is now teaching and preaching on the "position" of Israel and grafted in gentiles, soooo different to what the christian church teaches in the main. I am learning all the time, as with us all, but I do view your site on a regular basis. It does seem that the "messianic jewish roots" movement has varied thoughts on a number of issues, then again haven't we all.

Shalom,

Comments: I tend to agree with you about Oral Law. I have a question, out of curiousity. Do you observe The Passover Haggadah? Do you think there is relevance to the accounts of Yeshua's last Pesach, when the original language uses the definitive article: "He took THE cup" as opposed to A cup? I'm just curious since many "christians" confusingly use the account as an establishment of a new institution called "communion". (I find it ironic that an unchangeable Creator/Law is maticulous in time and detail about Passover and all festivals, but apparently doesn't care about frequency of this "new institution") Anyway, I was just curious how you felt about the Haggadah since it is not entirely in Torah and how that impacts The Lord's Pesach.
[EK: I have used a messianic haggadah in the past, but the last two years (maybe three -- can't remember!) we simply read from the Scriptures themselves. I have no gripe with using haggadot-- as long as they contain the relevant Scriptural passages and fulfill the Scriptural remembrance and observance. As far as the fact haggadot originate from oral tradition, I suppose it would be like taking offense at etiquette. We do observe rules and follow a certain order in dining (using the correct silverware, waiting until host or hostess lifts his or her fork to begin eating, etc.). These certainly aren't Scriptually binding rules for dining, but they also aren't opposed to Scripture either. And when everyone is governed by the same rules -- everyone knows what is expected and can be comfortable during the meal. The Haggadah also works to keep everyone on the same page (literally) so that no one is lost or confused during the seder. Excellent point regarding frequency of "communion" and no, sorry, I haven't studied any issues about "the cup" vs "a cup" -- be interesting to hear more about that.]

I was amazed at what I came up with and your website and others haved validated my conclusions, but your information is the most straight forward free of agenda!

Comments: I came across your site while doing some research on the web. I really enjoyed the articles . They are very well-written. As an Orthodox Jew who has come to believe in Yeshua as Mashiach (and fron the first time I opened the Brit Chadasha understood it very differently than the Christian interpretations), I am thankful for accurate resources like your site. May God bless yor holy work, and help you bring many Jews and Gentiles closer to the Almighty and his Torah.
